To maximize innovation and creativity, you should have the flexibility to use our services as you see fit, so long as you comply with the law and do not harm yourself or others. When using any Disruptive Rain service, including the Insight Sentinel platform or our API, the following rules apply:

• Comply with applicable laws: Do not compromise the privacy of others; engage in regulated activity without meeting legal requirements; or promote or engage in any illegal activity, including harming children or distributing illegal substances, goods, or services.
• Do not harm yourself or others: Do not use our services to promote self-harm or suicide, develop or use weapons, injure others, destroy property, or engage in unauthorized activities that compromise security.
• Do not repurpose output to cause harm: Do not use or distribute output from our services to defraud, scam, spam, mislead, bully, harass, defame, discriminate, sexualize minors, or promote violence, hatred, or suffering.
• Respect our safeguards: Do not circumvent the safety measures or mitigations implemented in our services unless explicitly authorized by Disruptive Rain for research purposes. This includes prohibitions on jailbreaking, prompt injection, and any techniques designed to bypass AI safety controls.
• Acknowledge data usage: By using our services, you acknowledge that your inputs, prompts, and AI-generated outputs may be used to train, improve, and develop our AI models. You may opt out of model training through your account settings, but access to the service constitutes consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

We take abuse very seriously and report any material involving child sexual abuse to the appropriate authorities.

Building with the Disruptive Rain API

Our API allows you to build custom applications using Disruptive Rain's technology. As a developer, you are responsible for ensuring that your application complies with these policies and respects user rights. To help you achieve this, we provide safety best practices, moderation tools, and customizable system messages.

• Privacy: Do not collect, process, disclose, infer, or generate personal data without complying with applicable legal requirements.
• Security: Do not facilitate spyware, unauthorized surveillance, or monitoring of individuals.
• Responsible Use: Avoid providing tailored legal, medical, or financial advice without proper review by qualified professionals. Do not make high-stakes automated decisions that affect an individual's safety, rights, or wellbeing.
• Transparency: Ensure that your application clearly informs users when they are interacting with an AI system, unless such disclosure is inherently obvious from the context.
• Minors: Do not build tools that are inappropriate for minors or that provide sexually explicit or suggestive content.
